Liz Celeste is a mother, artist, curator, and small business owner based in the Santa Cruz Mountains, California. She has managed the exhibitions and galleries for the Department of Art & Art History at Stanford University, directed programming for the Urban Arts Space in Columbus, OH, and built houses in Mississippi, California, and Honduras. She holds an MA in Arts Policy & Administration from the Ohio State University and a BA in Anthropology from Wake Forest University. Celeste takes frequent hikes with her two children. This photo is from Tenaya Lake, which the artist describes as “the best unplanned picnic spot.”
