‘Buoakirkja (Black church). Buoir, Iceland. November 2016’ by Brian Lee

Born in San Francisco, CA, Brian Lee is a 23-year old self-taught Korean-American photographer currently pursuing freelance work in Atlanta, GA. He specializes in a variety of content including travel, portraiture, photojournalism, and storytelling. With a passion for travel and stories, Brian strives to communicate messages and inspire his audience through the lens of his camera. As he puts it, photography is "the way I talk."

In 2016, Lee embarked on a two-week Icelandic road trip with his brother Jason, during which time he took this photograph of what he describes as “still my favorite church to this day.” He remembered, “When I pressed that shutter button as I held the camera with my frozen hands, that moment lead to my greatest day of this past year.”
