Mehak Iftikhar (b. 1993) is a photographer based in Karachi, Pakistan. She graduated from The University of Huddersfield in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Photography. In 2015, she published a photo book, ‘Pur Sukoon’ and has had the opportunity to exhibit her photographs at four exhibitions – twice at Working Class Hero Vintage in Byram Arcade, Huddersfield; at The Creative Arts Building and at the Art, Design and Architecture Festival, ‘Inspired Huddersfield 2016’ both located at The University of Huddersfield. Her final major project, ‘Maybe I Was Jealous’ was featured on Source Photographic Review: Graduate Photography Online 2016. In October 2017, she was part of Art on a Postcard: Photography on a Postcard and her photographs were exhibited at theprintspace in London. Since then, she has progressed onto film photography and is now working on independent research projects with photographic interests still set in moody and abstract images.
